Ok for outside play

This paddle has some pros and cons. It has an extremely small sweet spot. Not much power from the back line. It has great precision at the kitchen line. When playing with an indoor ball it’s horrible all the way around. An ok paddle for the price. Also know that the discount offered for signing up for email notification is worthless as they charge you full price at check out even if you sign up.

TERRA TC-16

Pros: soft face great for control, resets, creating spin, lack of vibration for those with tennis elbow. TMPR service was great.
Cons: shorter in length and lacks power.

(4.0-4.5 player) I really like the innovative paddle shape, how the ball feels coming off the face with minimal vibration but it lacks the power I need for faster advanced play & firefights. I even added 3g lead tape weight to either top corner but I can’t get the necessary pop I need. Wish I had tried the demo program as I suspect the TC-13 was the paddle I needed. 🤷‍♂️

Game Style

I am a 3.0-3.5 level player just to give you a reference, and my game preference is more of a power game versus control (say 60/40). I was able to use the TC-16 for a tournament and it did offer me plenty of control but I wanted a touch more pop. The TC-16 dinking game is spot on with a very well mannered touch, and was easy to control the defensive/offensive lob. If a control game is your style, then the TC-16 is a good choice. If your suffering from pickleball elbow, you will find this paddle does absorb a lot of the shock. But, since I wanted more pop in my game, TMPR swap the TC-16 out for a TC-13. For me, I did not feel I lost any control, rather I picked up the pop I was needing to keep my game style in tact. I have used the TC-13 in several competitions and enjoy both the soft and hard game it offers. TMPR is a great company to work with and if you're undecided, look into their demo program, very generous. It will give you plenty of time to down select. Good luck and pickle on!

Duplicate Paddles

Before I bought the Terra 16, I used another paddle. The other paddle was hurting my arm and hand and left me with tennis elbow. The Terra 16 has worked wonders! I no longer have arm issues. It worked so well that my husband took over my paddle and I had to buy a duplicate.
Also, the TMPR team is fabulous! I scooped a ball and the top of the paddle came apart. I was in Florida at the time. Rest assured when I returned home, they honored their warranty and the paddle is being fixed as we speak. Great, friendly folks to work with!

Excellent paddle

Love this paddle. Great control and plenty of power. Love it more than Selkirk Invicta and $100 less expensive.
