About TMPR Sports

My wife, Diana, caught the pickleball bug in 2011. Most nights of the week, she could be found playing at Fireman’s Park. I learned the game from her. It did not take long for me to become equally obsessed.

TMPR Sports (pronounced Temper) was born out of our love for this new game.

Diana and I, along with our son Taylor, founded TMPR Sports in 2018. Our goal is to supply players of all skill levels with paddles that play well and feel good to play with.

TMPR Sports is focused on helping you find the paddle that best fits your skill level and playing style. We offer paddles containing three different core materials and in five different shapes. Each has its own performance characteristics. I, for example, use the Tantrum LX because I like the increased swing speed from the aerodynamic shape and the torque I generate from the 16¼’’ length.

All of our equipment is made and manufactured at our own factory in Buchanan, Michigan. To figure out what’s right for you, try our demo program, which allows you to play with one of our paddles for two weeks.
