The TMPR Games™: Tournament of Drills, A Competitive Pickleball Clinic For Players Of Skill Levels 2.5 to 3.5
Niles, Michigan - Pickleball enthusiasts of skill levels 2.5 to 3.5, get ready for the ultimate test of your skills! The TMPR Games™, Tournament of Drills, is coming to Fireman’s Park on Saturday June 3rd, 2023 and promises to be a tournament like no other. This competitive pickleball clinic is designed to help players improve their game while having fun.
The TMPR Games™ comprise of three skill-enhancing events that require teams of two to participate. Each participant is required to register with a partner. The events are carefully designed to help players improve their pickleball abilities. The first event, known as the "Dinking Game," aims to improve the team's soft and controlled shot-making near the net. The second event, named the "7/11 Game," focuses on honing the team's ability to move together from the baseline to the non-volley line, a crucial skill for gaining an edge in the game. The final event will be full games where players can translate what they have learned in the drills and drills-based games to a regular game.
TMPR® Sponsored players and PPR certified instructors, Todd Hill and Don Happ from H2 Pickleball, will be leading the TMPR Games™. "This tournament is all about improving your skills and having fun, and we're excited to offer it to players in the 2.5 to 3.5 skill level range," says Todd Hill." Each drill is designed to be challenging yet enjoyable, and we know players will leave feeling like they've grown as pickleball players."
The TMPR Games™ is open to players of skill levels 2.5 to 3.5, and the tournament will take place at Fireman’s Park located at 320 Bell Rd. in Niles, Michigan. Teams of two can sign up. Each team will compete in all three events. The top four overall teams will compete in a playoff to determine first, second, and third place.
"We wanted to create an event that would be competitive and help players improve their skills in a fun and engaging way," says Doug Clark from TMPR Sports. Our collaboration with H2 Pickleball, who lead the TMPR Games™, has made this possible. "We believe that players in the 2.5 to 3.5 skill level range will get the most out of this tournament, and we can't wait to see the competition unfold."

Registration is open now and prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. In addition, each participant will be able to apply 50% of their registration fee towards the purchase of a new TMPR® paddle, backpack, or team lesson if desired. Lastly, the registration fee will cover pizza and refreshments for all participants.
